A retreat for those who treasure the gifts of Ignatian Spirituality as understood and lived for a new day; a day in which we are called to love and care for God’s magnificent creation and to respond in destructive times to its passionate, urgent cry.
During this retreat we will explore together the many resources to be found in the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius for an earth centered spirituality of joy, praise, thanksgiving and care. We will reflect on the great writings of Pierre Teilhard de Chardin, the poetry of Gerard Manley Hopkins and on the work of contemporary Ignatian writers as we respond, in turn, to the “cry of the earth and cry of the poor” in our day.
