The Season of Advent in the Christian Year invites us to quiet reflection and a prayerful renewal of our understanding of the birth of Jesus Christ into the world. It is both a time of remembering and simultaneously an invitation to the “not yet” of Advent waiting. Before the rush of Christmas preparations you are invited to come apart for a day of prayerful rest to discover anew light in the darkness – the presence of Christ with us.
