Sought out by Kings and Popes for her wisdom and foresight, Hildegard of Bingen was a12th C Benedictine abbess, both mystic Christian and noted healer, wise prophet and accomplished musician. Her love of creation and profound theology led Pope Benedict to proclaim her a canonized Saint and Doctor of the Church in 2012.
