Based on the recent work of Sister Elizabeth Johnson, CSJ, In her new book “Creation and the Cross”, this retreat day is an invitation to reconsider the ancient concept of cosmic redemption, familiar in the early Church. As we prayerfully enter into this sacred week in the Church’s liturgical year we will prayerfully reflect on the Passion of Jesus and all that it calls us to in today’s world marked as it is by ecological destruction and great human suffering.
